WooCommerce CSV export → AI optimization → Re-import via the native tool. Nothing to install on WordPress, no admin access required, pay-as-you-go pricing.
WooCommerce is still the most-used e-commerce engine in the world, but its flexibility comes at a cost: a typical WooCommerce catalog mixes products imported from WordPress with listings written in the back-office, Yoast fields filled or empty depending on the year, overlapping categories, sometimes-forgotten short descriptions. That mess costs in SEO (Google visibility melts), in conversion (shoppers hesitate), and in time (reviewing 1,000 listings inside WordPress takes weeks).
Ecomptimize processes your standard WooCommerce CSV export, recognizes every column in the format (name, description, short description, categories, tags, plugin SEO metadata when present), and improves the content fields you pick without touching structural data (SKU, price, stock, attributes, variations, images). You validate every listing in a review screen, then re-import the optimized file through WooCommerce's native tool. No plugin to install on WordPress, no admin access requested.
In WordPress / WooCommerce: Products > All Products > "Export" button at the top. Choose "Export all products" or a subset by category / type. The CSV downloads directly.
In Ecomptimize: dashboard > Optimize > drop the CSV. We auto-detect the WooCommerce format, map the columns (Name, Description, Short description, Categories, Tags, Yoast meta), estimate the price, and ask you to confirm the offer and contractual fields.
After the run, the review screen shows every listing side by side: before / after. Validate, edit, or leave suggestions as-is before exporting.
CSV export in the same WooCommerce format. In WordPress: Products > Import > select the file and check "Update existing products": WooCommerce recognizes IDs and updates listings instead of creating new ones.
Product-generation or optimization plugins for WordPress demand admin access, inject code into your site (potentially on every page), and stay active even when you're not using them. For a production WordPress site, every extra plugin is an attack surface, a possible source of conflict with your theme, and a maintenance debt. Ecomptimize works outside your site.
WooCommerce covers a huge variety of verticals. The most relevant use cases share one trait: enough volume that editorial consistency matters, and a clear SEO stake.
No. Ecomptimize works only through WooCommerce's native CSV export/import. No access to your WordPress admin, no code installed on your site, no database touched. You export a file, we optimize it, you re-import. Your site stays exactly as it was.
No. The slug (post_name) is preserved verbatim in the re-imported file. WooCommerce identifies listings by ID, so no duplication risk. Your permalinks, your backlinks, and your earned SEO stay intact.
No, as long as you check "Update existing products" during the WooCommerce import. WooCommerce recognizes the product IDs in the CSV and updates the existing listings instead of creating new ones.
Yes, when they are present. The Yoast columns "Meta: _yoast_wpseo_title" and "Meta: _yoast_wpseo_metadesc" are auto-detected and can be optimized on request. If no supported SEO plugin columns are detected, Ecomptimize optimizes product text and tags while preserving plugin metadata unchanged.
Large catalogs are supported within file size and processing limits. For a first try, 20 to 50 listings are enough to calibrate the brand voice.
Never. Regular price, Sale price, Stock, In stock, SKU, Attributes, Variations columns are strictly preserved. We only work on fields allowed by the offer (Name, Description, Short description, Tags, SEO meta when the offer allows it).
Yes. The WooCommerce CSV format handles parent products and their variations. Ecomptimize works at parent-product level for allowed fields (Name, Description, Short description, Tags) and preserves all variations as-is.
The selected offer defines the processed fields: The essentials covers Name, Description, Short description and Tags; Google visibility, Formatted product pages and Expert catalog add supported Yoast meta only when those columns are detected. Categories are preserved by default.
Yes. Your CSV is processed within the scope of your account and only by Ecomptimize and the configured AI providers required for the processing. Retention periods and subprocessors are documented in the privacy policy.
Yes. Since we work via the native CSV export/import, your hosting doesn't matter (shared, VPS, managed, WordPress.com Business). The only requirement: have access to the WooCommerce CSV export and import, which is included by default in any standard WooCommerce install.
Export a sample from WooCommerce, run it in Ecomptimize, then review the suggestions before reimporting. The exact price is shown and confirmed before paid processing.
